Has anyone removed these mirrors? If so, can it be done without badly marring the wallboard behind them.
We now have the flat-panel TV on the credenza, but it has become the favorite lounging place for the cat and it is very hard to see through her. I would like to permanantly mount the TV higher, but there is insufficient wall space with both mirrors in place. |
John---We have an 06 30' classic with "those" mirrors. I removed ours shortly after we took delivery. 2 reasons--we wanted to put a picture there --didn't particularly like the look. Ours were mounted in a channel top and botton which had a slight crimp on each end. I opened the crimp and with a little effort the mirrors slid out leaving the channels. They were attached with what looked like 2 sided tape and the bottom rail had staples additionally. I carefully pulled on one end and removed the rails. A little WD40 dribbled on the tape helps loosen the tape and toothpaste filled the staple holes.
