Sparks, I am gutting a 72 Ambassador and have a similar plan. I was thinking of cork on my floor, and acoustic foam rubber for walls and ceiling. I plan to be hooked up to power at all times so trying to plan a new grid. Also looking at in floor heating. The idea is to get rid of all the little stuff while adding simple luxury and new technology. Also planning to install a fire place. It is cool here in the Rockies. Would like to share any of you design ideas.
