Your two posts "Cheap or Free in Florida" and "Cheap or Free Dump Stations - Florida" are very helpful for those of us who enjoy exploring the nooks and crannies in Florida.
Like you, we found the sites at St. Marks too tiny for our rig, but no one hassled us when we backed into a large open grassy area for the night. No other RVers were there, nor was a caretaker; so the next morning, we collected litter and raked up several sites as payment for parking overnight. It never hurts to act like we're in charge of taking care of a place - even though we're just passing through. <grin>
