The floor can be replaced without removing the shell. That is what we are doing with our 1954 Liner, however the floor cannot go in in whole pieces from side to side, it must be split down the center. If you want to see some pictures of this method, look at RJ Dial's site Vintageairstream.com and his 1957 Flying Cloud restoration.
