John I want to thank you for the suggestion of taking it to a sheet metal shop. About 2/3 of the original metal has gone. The tank seems to be in good shape though. I like how you tank is suspened, may have to modify and upgrade this idea. I also believe this whole problem started when the vent caps ,on the roof, were never replaced. The tank valve won't stop grey water or rain water for that matter. Hence, leak into the bumper area and then the galvanized steel. At least this isn't the worst case I've seen.
