We have been selling Airstreams for 40 years now and one thing we have learned is with used Bambis the book is not even close to being right. A 2001 bambi in the Sept-Dec 2005 NADA guide says retail is $13,900. In real money that trailer would sell closer to $22,500 to the right person. Year plays very little in the value of a late model bambi. A 2001 and a 2004 generally will bring the same amount of money. One thing is for sure, they go fast. I have sold three in the past 5 months. I will generally have one sold before it even arrives at the dealership. I keep a running list of what people are looking for. I have yet to see one last longer than a week on the lot though.
