Hello all. I have seen many customizations in these fine forums where center-twin owners will convert their "couches" to permanent twin beds.
I'm torn by which way I want to go. I like the twin beds because there is no messing with bedding every night and every morning, and it gives the trailer more of a homey feel; but I like the idea of the two couches because in "live mode" there is more room, and I think I can be more creative in my upholstering endeavors with couches rather than beds.
Those are the pros and cons as I see them. What are they as YOU see them from personal experience?
Issue 2: Our girls sleep in the twin beds and my wife and I sleep on the front couch together (for obvious reasons). The front couch is not quite big enough for the both of us. I don't want to do away with the shelf behind the couch and I don't want to change the dimensions of the "live mode" couch, but I do want to make the "sleep mode" bed bigger by about a foot. Has anyone done this? If yes, can you attach pics to this thread of what it looks like when modified?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
