Chuck.

Airstream strives to have window replacements available for the 1969 and up trailers.

However, they have a few made with plastic instead of glass. They also use a different flange on the stack and vista view windows, and on some of the wrap windows. They still can be used, but sometimes a little more work is involved.

The 1969 opening windows used a different hinge. Therefore when a replacement opening window is needed for a 69, you must change the hinge. If not, the window will not close, and if you force it, the hinge rivets will shear. Also sometimes the bottom of the window sash may slightly overlap the frame, making it necessary to shave some of the metal off the bottom.

The classic motorhome side windows have not been available for sometime. But, they can be repaired using Lexan.

However, Lexan will not work for the driver or passenger sliding windows.
With the help of Airstream, we now have the curb side slider on hand, and in a few weeks will have the drivers slider on hand. Why the original molds were destroyed, for all those windows, no one knows.

To our knowledge, Airstream does not have any plans to discontinue any of the 69 and up windows, other than the double pane windows, which they discontinued sometime ago.
