I checked with Airstream this AM.
1969 wing windows are made with plastic.
That being the case, I would suggest that you replace your broken glass with Lexan.
There are two types of Lexan.
One is a plain surface and the other has a scratch resistant surface on both sides. We use that material for the 66-67-68 windows.
You can actually scrub it with steel wool, and not scratch it.
