Lee, first congrats on your "new" Bambi! They are cool little guys! I had a '61 Ohio Bambi for several years. I'm not entirely sure what you're asking... perhaps a photo of what your existing battery setup looks like might help clarify it. The battery in my Bambi was in the front streetside corner under the front couch. It shouldn't be a problem merely to replace your 12v battery with a larger 12v deep cycle RV battery; if the battery won't fit through the battery compartment door, you can replace it by removing the couch cushion and supporting plywood top. There shouldn't be any wiring changes required, and I'm not sure what the 'four-pronged cord' is, exactly. The only thing I can think of from your description is that perhaps you have an exterior mounted tractor battery box?
