| Zero Carb Twinkie | | | You would think it's flat We went out to Calgary for a wedding last year, and went to the Great SandHills of Saskatchewan http://www.greatsandhillsmuseum.com/ . Very interesting sand dunes in the middle of nowhere. If you want to go, only do a day trip. Camp along the TransCanada and drive up without the trailer. The road is garbage (the one north from Gull Lake - 37). Hwy 21 might be better. I gritted my teeth towing the AS all the way up there.
A beautiful spot to camp - (On the Alberta Border) is Cypress Hills Provincial Park.
Do not take a regular camp site but try and get to the group camping or overflow area on the top of the hill (if you do not need hookups). http://www.se.gov.sk.ca/saskparks/Pa...ypress%20Hills |
