| Rear end sagged, then dropped out on the road?

3 Posts Posted - 04/03/2005 : 04:53:15 AM    We just purchased a 1979 International with the rear end bath, and took it out on a maiden voyage. The rear end had a sag, the holding tank was cleaned. On the trip home the rear end dropped off and we had no option but to drag it home, it was eve and all the welding shops were closed. It looks like the whole compartment that is underneath the rear end bath dropped down, ripped hoses and lines and compartment with circles on it. I have the owners and service manual but they do not have diagrams of interior compartments beneath the flooring. What is this stuff that just fell out so that I have direction on how to repair or replace?
