Old story (from 1964)

I have posted a scanned article from the newspaper regarding my family's trip to Alaska in 1964 with our Airstream. It is at the AirstreamPhotos site, search for caadoptees. I was 4 at the time so I don't remember much except the 9 flat tires. I remember my father not being afraid to take the Airstream since it was riveted together, not screwed together. Also the vital lines in the underbelly were covered. This was not as an extensive a trip as some of Wally B's but it was pretty good for 1964. My parents have always had an Airstream after their first Teardrop. We actually have their last one now after my father couldn't drive anymore. I hope to always have one.
