this thread The catch is a simple elbow catch that is available at just about any hardware store. It is mounted on a small block of wood to bring it out to the level of the cabinet door. I put a small piece of plastic on the glass where the catch rubs.
ALso, I put front edges on the shelves so that stuff wouldn't fly out every time the door was opened after transport. There's a photo in
this thread Even with the catch on the door, without some sort of fronts on the shelves, things will fall out anyway.
Some of the other things I did to the AS would apply to your CCD such as resistors to slow the noisy fans, quieter refrigerator fan, and so on.
