| Seat Belt Dilemma
I am a new Argosy 28' MH owner, and would like to add a third seatbelt to the sleeper sofa. The two seatbelts that are already installed bolt through the floor and my first thought was to simply remove the two bolts securing the "inside" belts, add a new seat belt for the middle of the sofa, and reattach the bolts. However, when I look under the vehicle, the area below the sofa contains the gas tank which prevents access to the floor area under the sofa. I'm afraid to remove the existing bolts, because I don't know whether they thread into the frame or into a nut that is obscured by the gas tank. I want to avoid having to drop the gas tank to get access to the bolts. Has anyone ever worked on these bolts and belts?
