Hello - we have one of the vintage (looking) awnings that came w/our 78 Argosy. Has the scallops. Poles need replacing as the screw mechanism that allows poles to telescope up/down are wallowed out and do not hold at all well. I was wondering if it might be possible to create some type of sleeve on the side of ours so that there would also be poles or something running lengthwise down the awning to help hold it out (no sag). Saw one in your pictures, Shari, (green w/red stripes, I think, w/wonderful vintage car) that showed that, but don't know if it came that way or if they created.
