| Generator instead?
Camping World has 100 watt panels "on sale" for $749. For another $110 you can get a Honda EU2000i generator and be done with it. I have boondocked for 3 days using lights and water pump sparingly, and not run the battery down completely. But we don't watch TV unless we have AC power. We also use flash lights and propane lanterns for light. You would be surprised how conservative you can be if you put your mind to it. I am also thinking of putting a propane light in the dining area.
